Welcome to Mudaridge

Mudridge is an eco-friendly, self-catering residence that sleeps up to 14.

Mudaridge is surrounded by established beef cattle and lifestyle properties in the foothills of the Gloucester Tops National Park and is located approximately 3hrs from Sydney.

Set on fifty acres, Mudaridge is a bushland retreat with walking trails above the house and hiking access to your own private river frontage at the bottom of the property.

There is space to unwind in this beautifully appointed extremely large house.

As there is no mobile phone coverage, internet or WiFi you can really ‘get away from it all’.

The Residence

Mudaridge is built from mud bricks which were made from the dirt on the site. The thermal mass of the bricks keeps the house cool in summer and when the wood stove is on in winter, the house stays toasty. The living area is oriented toward the north using passive solar to warm the concrete slab. The windows were handmade from recycled hardwood.

Mudaridge comprises a separate open plan Living Area Wing (with sofa bed to sleep 2) and a Sleeping Area Wing with 5 bedrooms accommodating up to 12 people and a games room (also with sofa bed to sleep 2 people).
